True Religion Brand Jeans Limited Edition Collections
From 2012 to 2016, I had the opportunity to collaborate with True Religion Brand Jeans on their limited-edition collections. During this period, I was a designer at Labeltex Studio in Los Angeles, where I focused on trim design and production. My responsibilities extended beyond design, as I also prepared files for production and print, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
The collections I contributed to included The Henley Collection, known for its timeless appeal; Vintage Workwear, showcasing a rugged and heritage-inspired aesthetic; Vintage Fleece, blending comfort with vintage style; The Original Big T Jeans, a signature line celebrating True Religion's bold stitching and premium denim; and The Sportswear Collection, a versatile range combining sophistication with casual wear.
For each collection, I created hangtags that captured the essence of the designs, labels that integrated seamlessly with the garments while maintaining brand consistency, patches with intricate details that reinforced authenticity, and custom buttons and hardware that added a distinctive, polished finish. Many of these elements were brought to life through hand-drawn illustrations, adding a unique, artisanal touch that elevated the overall design and aligned with True Religion's bold and iconic aesthetic.
This experience allowed me to deepen my understanding of the intersection between design and brand identity. By prioritizing precision and creativity, I was able to contribute elements that not only elevated the collections but also aligned with True Religion’s iconic style. My time working on these projects reflects my commitment to delivering thoughtful, cohesive design solutions that resonate with a brand’s vision.
